How long does my hair need to be to wear braid-in extensions?

At least 2 - 3 inches long. I can forward you videos that will show you how to install them on long and short hair. It you still struggling you can make video call appointment, and we can go through it.

    Will they damage my hair?

If cared for Braid-in extensions are a protective hairstyle which actually help your hair. The only time you would want to worry about damage is if your hair has been over bleached to the point of being brittle, or in you deal with sever alopecia

How long does a set of Braid-in extensions last?

if cared for properly a set will last you years. most people get new sets mostly because they want to mix and match with new colours.

How long can i leave it in for?

A recommended time is 4-6 weeks of wear. When you remove them, you can immediately re-install them, or you might want to give a break and reinstall later.

    Can I wash them?

You surely can! Most people wash their extensions once a week. its suggested to use a divinity dreadlock shampoo bar. Want i always so to my clients is to have a bucket with water and then mix some of your shampoo in the water, then take a sponge and wash your hair that way. That works wanders.

    Are they heavy or uncomfortable?

These Braid-in extensions are of the lightest dreadlock styles you will find. A full set is around 13 oz. But saying that, adding these to your head definitely takes a few days to get used to. Feeling or notice a little bit of itching, tightness is normal and take a few days to get used to.

How long does it take to put them in?

This can vary. It all depends on if you decide to install then yourself or have a friend or hairdresser help. but for most it takes them on average of 4-8 hours.

    How are they installed?

Double ended Braid-in extensions are installed by simply braiding them in. If you know how to do a simple 3 strand braid like most of us learn when we were little, then you already know what to do. You can install them yourself or have a friend to help or a hairdresser

How hard are they to care for?

Super easy! Your daily routine at first will take about 10 minutes in the morning and 10 minutes in the evening. Over time as your Extensions mature, they will get easier to care for and will take less time each day. Happy to explain more if needed.

Do i brush or comb them?

No ... if you brush or comb the hair, they will separate the waves and they will lose their look and ruin them. You will simply just separate them twice daily with hair nectar or oil to keep them from tangling together

How do i know what colours to get?

Many starts with a base of their natural root color. Then from there they like to add in highlights, lowlights, accent colors etc. But if you get stuck with what colours to get or need,
